Scholarship
The PPGBTC has scholarships at each level (Master’s or Doctorate) through the CAPES Social Demand Promotion Program (DS), master’s scholarships from the National Research Council (CNPq), and the Research and Innovation Foundation of Santa Catarina(FAPESC). The number of grants varies yearly and depends on the availability of grants from funding agencies and PPG projects with these agencies. Scholarships are distributed according to the classification of candidates in a public notice for the distribution of scholarships that are released annually, according to a specific rule. Thus, the PPG does not guarantee the granting of scholarships to all students who enter the program.
The PPG also has funds from the CAPES Graduate Support Program (PROAP) for granting aid to the Student and Faculty participation in scientific events to present their work, as well as the cost of tickets and per diems to the participation of external members in the defense committees of the conclusion works. This amount is also used to fund research and scientific production laboratories following the current PPG regulations.
